IPTVpn Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
IPTVpn is an app for Apple TV published by DOWI PROJECT MANAGEMENT ("we"). It has two parts: a player for the IPTV subscription you bring from your own provider, and an optional VPN sold as an in-app subscription.
The player
The links, usernames and passwords of your IPTV subscriptions stay on your Apple TV (in its keychain). The app connects directly to your provider to load channels, programs and videos; we never receive them. We have no account system and no advertising or tracking in the app.
Usage statistics
To know how much the app is used, the app sends our server short reports.
The reports are linked to a random number created by the app, which is not linked to your Apple account or to your VPN subscription. Your IP address is not stored. The reports are used only for statistics, never for advertising, and are kept for as long as the app is offered. You can turn them off at any time in Settings › Legal Notices, at the bottom of the screen.
The VPN
We never record the websites, apps or channels you use through the VPN, the content of your traffic, or your IP address. To provide the VPN to your Apple TV, our server keeps only:
- the identifier of your Apple subscription (Apple's "original transaction identifier"), its product and end date;
- a random identifier created by the app on your Apple TV, so that one subscription runs on one Apple TV at a time;
- the identifier of the matching account at our VPN network partner.
We do not know your name, email address or payment details: purchases are handled by Apple.
The servers your traffic goes through are operated by our VPN network partner, a specialized provider based outside the European Union. Like any VPN server, they see the public IP address of your Apple TV and the destinations of your traffic while the VPN is on. We send the partner only the account identifier we create for you. Our partner states that it keeps no logs: no visited sites, no traffic, no IP addresses, no connection times. Using the VPN means your traffic goes through these servers, outside the European Union.
When you turn the VPN on or change its location, and when you run the connection test in Settings (with or without the VPN), the app asks Cloudflare, which relays our websites, for the public IP address and country of your Apple TV, and measures the speed by downloading a test file from Cloudflare's speed test service for a few seconds. When a channel, movie or episode starts playing, the app also asks Cloudflare for this address, at most once every ten minutes, and keeps only the last one, on your Apple TV: if your IPTV provider later refuses to play, the app can tell you whether your address has changed. Cloudflare sees the address the request comes from: the VPN's when it is on, yours otherwise. The results stay on your Apple TV; we keep nothing and send this address to no one.
For statistics, our server also counts each day how many subscriptions used the VPN, and each hour for how long in total, all subscribers together, and how many subscriptions are running, started, renewed or ended. These totals contain no identifier. To count running subscriptions, it also keeps the identifier of each Apple subscription with its product, whether it is a free trial and its end date, linked to nothing else (not to your Apple TV nor to the account at our partner). The statistics are kept for as long as the app is offered.
The data listed above are used only to provide the VPN. When your subscription ends, the VPN stops on your Apple TV, the account at our partner is disabled, and all of these data are deleted (from our server and at our partner) 30 days after the end, except the statistics described above. Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete your VPN data and statistics at any time; to stop usage statistics, turn them off in Settings › Legal Notices. Because we do not know who you are, send us the date of your purchase from your Apple purchase history, and we will find and delete the matching record.
